Workshops

With face-to-face events being limited in recent times, all workshops are currently being run virtually. Our workshops run for around 2 hours – 2 hours 30minutes and involve a break in the middle. Sessions are designed to be interactive and engaging; promoting values based living and development of skills through hands-on learning and reflection circles. We will contact you before the session in order to better understand your needs and tailor the content where appropriate.

Tailor-made workshops

At Revive, we are committed to offering workshops that are tailor-made to the needs of your organization. Choose from the following modules to create a workshop to suit your objectives.

Modules:

  • Developing Empathy – Understanding how to relate to the experiences of others and giving support through empathetic conversations.

  • Communication – Improving the quality of conversations through increased awareness of communication styles.

  • Decision Making – Using a model to make informed decisions when faced with challenging situations.

  • Preference and Interaction Style – Looking at behavior ad interaction style and how this can be applied within teams and in leadership to communicate more effectively.

  • Listening to Understand – Improving the quality of listening skills through being present and available in order to broaden perspectives.

  • Stress Management – Looking at the Stress Vulnerability Model to monitor stress levels and effective coping strategies.

  • Conflict Management – Using values to navigate through conflicts, understanding when and how to negotiate compromises.

  • Temperament and understanding core needs – The Temperament theory describes four patterns

  • People versus objects – Understanding behaviors that treat people as people who have strengths, challenges and limitations versus behaviors that project expectations and labels that arise from these expectations.

  • Emotional Intelligence – Increasing awareness of emotional needs and developing emotional literacy.

WORKSHOPS

Workplace Well-being

This interactive workshop is designed to help participants to develop emotional support skills that will pave the way to building confidence and increasing productivity within teams. Linking back to organisational values which are often forgotten, the workshop will help participants to explore & practice methods that support their personal well-being as well as being attuned to the well being needs of their teams. Modules include: Understanding and managing stress Developing self-compassion Effective questioning and listening skills Demonstrating Empathy These transferable skills will help individuals in not only their work relationships but personal relationships too! This is a two part workshop over a fortnight. Part one is 2.5 hours long and will be followed by a 1 hour Skills Evaluation session where participants will have the opportunity to reflect and share best practice.

Mental Health First Aid

These accredited courses are structured around a blend of individual learning and live instructor-led sessions. These are all conducted online via the new Online Learning Hub developed by MHFA England. The online learning hub is an integrated learning platform where you can access learning materials, communicate with your instructor and join the live sessions.

Prior to each of these sessions there are pre-learning activities for you to complete, which will take between 1-2 hours. The pre-learning material is comprised of reading, videos and activities for you to engage with and this information is then discussed and consolidated within the live sessions.
