Booking Terms & Conditions

 

We want your booking with us to run as smoothly as possible. In order to provide a great level of service to all of our clients and delegates, we have some terms and conditions that you will need to agree to when making a booking.

 

1. How to Book 

1.1  Please ensure you have read, understood and accepted the Conditions of Booking before you submit a booking. By making a booking you will be deemed to have read, understood, and accepted them.

1.2 To make a booking please use the live booking system on our website or email info@revive-vsg.com

1.3 Once the booking is received our Admin team will process your request and if spaces are still available you will receive an email confirmation of the booking. If no spaces are available you will be notified that this is the case and invited to consider booking an alternative space.

1.4 All bookings that are confirmed are only confirmed on a provisional basis subject to payment in full. Once full payment has been received the booking will be deemed confirmed and your space will be secured.

1.5 Any cancellation of a booking needs to be confirmed in writing more than 14 days prior to the date of the booking.

1.6 Where a booking is made less than 14 days prior to the delivery of the booking payment will be required at the time of the booking being confirmed.

1.7 All courses become non transferable, cancellable or refundable when there are 14 days or less to the booking date. Where payment is still outstanding and there are 14 days or less to the delivery of the booking, payment will be required in full.

1.8 All booking must be made by someone over 18 years of age at the time of the booking.

2. Methods of Payment

2.1 Payment of the booking fees must be made in advance and should be made at the time of placing a booking or immediately after receiving an invoice.

2.2 Payments must be made by bank transfer to the bank details provided on the invoice.

2.3 All invoices are payable on presentation. 

2.4 Late payments may incur a late payment charge of 10% and you may forfeit your space(s) on the course.

2.5 Invoices will be sent a minimum of 14 days before the course start date – unless the booking is made with 14 days or less to the booking delivery date.

2.6 If payment cannot be made within this timescale you must contact us in writing immediately to let us know this.

2.7 Where payment is still outstanding with 14 days or less to the delivery date the booking may be offered to another party and cancellation fees will apply.

3. Cancellation – Face to Face Courses 

3.1  Bookings can only be cancelled by contacting us in writing.

3.2 Cancellations with 14 days or less of the booking start date will be charged at the full course fee rate.

3.2  Cancellations more than 15 days in advance of the course will incur a 10% cancellation charge

3.3 No shows on the day without any notice will be classed as cancelling on the day.

4. Cancellation – Online Courses 

4.1 Whether or not course fees have been paid, cancellation fees will apply once the booking has been processed.

4.2  Bookings can only be cancelled by contacting us in writing.

4.3  Cancellations with 72 hours or less of the booking start date will be charged at the full course fee rate.

4.4  Cancellations more than 72 hours in advance of the course will incur a 50% charge unless the space can be allocated to someone on a waiting list. In this case, a 10% admin fee will be incurred.

4.5 No shows on the day without any notice will be classed as cancelling on the day.

5. Delegate Submission

 5.1 It is possible to substitute an alternative delegate on any place booked at no additional cost but we would require to be notified in writing at least 48 hours prior to the booking delivery date.

6. Course Content and Programme Schedule

6.1 Revive-VSG Limited reserves the right to alter the advertised schedule of courses, which may include cancellation of a course.

6.2 All advertised programmes require a minimum number of bookings (a quorum) to be placed on each course. Where a quorum is not reached, we reserve the right to cancel the course.

6.3 Where Revive-VSG Limited cancels a course, individuals with confirmed bookings on that course will be offered alternative dates. Where no suitable alternative dates are available a full refund will be made.

6.4 If we need to cancel a course then we will endeavour to provide 7 days’ notice but there may be circumstances where we need to cancel a course due to factors beyond our control where this may not be possible.

6.5 Revive-VSG Limited reserves the right to alter or amend the advertised content of any course without notice in order to continuously provide a high quality service or due to circumstances beyond our control.

6.6 Revive-VSG Limited reserve the right to change the venue from that originally advertised and will endeavour to provide 7 days’ notice where this is the case, however there may be factors beyond our control where this may not be possible.

6.7 Revive-VSG Limited will not be liable for any losses or expenses, including consequential costs, arising from any such alterations or amendments to the programme content and schedule, including cancellation.

7. Exclusion

7.1 Revive-VSG Limited reserves the right to refuse access to its facilities and premises where there is reason to believe that a delegate is in breach of these conditions or where a delegate uses threatening, bullying, harassing or disruptive behaviour.

7.2 Revive-VSG Limited will not be liable for any losses or expenses (including course fees and consequential damages) incurred by a delegate arising from such an exclusion.

8. Digital and Online Training Facilities

8.1 Revive-VSG Limited will provide access to our online training platforms in order for delegates to attend an online training course.

8.2 Charges for online training are per delegate and not per connection. Where we suspect more than one person is using a connection to our digital services, we reserve the right to terminate and block the connection without refund.

8.3 We will publish the minimum software and hardware requirements for accessing our online and digital services. It is the delegates responsibility to check these prior to the course and cancel within the required timescales where these cannot be met.

8.4 Revive-VSG Limited will not be responsible for failures to connect due to software or hardware requirements not being met, internet drop-outs or failures, issues with firewalls or being unable to download the required software due to internal security policies.

 

9. Free Webinars and Other Online Services Offered Free of Charge

9.1 Revive-VSG Limited will from time to time offer some online and digital services free of charge.

9.2 Where this is the case we use an email marketing list programme to collect and manage registrations including sending joining instructions. This data will also be added to our main marketing list and used to send further communications after the event where we think the delegate will be interested in the content. The participant can elect to unsubscribe from this list at any time by selecting the ‘unsubscribe’ option.

10. Rights, Reservations & Infringements

10.1 Revive-VSG Limited reserves the right to refuse a booking for any reason that it deems reasonable and is not required to provide an explanation for refusal.

10.2 All bookings are run for the sole benefit of the participants that have booked a place, either individually or through a group, and no one else. Revive-VSG does not accept any liability to any third parties for any bookings undertaken.

10.3 Materials & course contents provided during the bookings are for the sole benefit of the participants who have booked a place, either individually or through a group, and the participants undertake not to distribute, make use of any materials, or represent as their own,  any material to any third parties as any material provided is the sole copyright of Revive-VSG Limited.

10.4 Revive-VSG Limited cannot be held liable for any inferences, beliefs or actions undertaken by any participants on their bookings following attendance of any sessions. 

10.5 Any infringements of any of the above will act as grounds for cancellation by Revive-VSG Limited and full cancellation charges will be applied.

 

11. Force Majeure

11.1 Force Majeure : Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained herein, neither party shall be liable for any delays or failures in performance resulting from acts beyond its reasonable control including, without limitation, acts of God, acts of war and terrorism, shortage of supply, breakdowns or malfunctions of computer facilities, or loss of data during power failures or mechanical difficulties, labour difficulties or civil unrest, medical emergencies such as epidemics or pandemics or other such serious conditions. Notwithstanding the foregoing, in the event of such an occurrence each party agrees to make a good faith effort to perform its obligations hereunder.
