This Two Day online course delivers the same evidence-based learning outcomes of the popular ‘face-to-face’ Youth MHFA Two Day courses in an accessible and flexible online format.
It will teach you about the signs and symptoms of common mental health challenges, and help you learn how to provide young people with support and signposting to professional services and self-help to further support their recovery.
The course is structured around a blend of individual learning and live instructor-led sessions. These are all conducted online via the new Online Learning Hub developed by MHFA England. The online learning hub is an integrated learning platform where you can access learning materials, communicate with your instructor and join the live sessions.
The course is made up of four instructor-led live sessions of approximately 2.5 hours each. Prior to each of these sessions, there are pre-learning activities for you to complete, which will take between 1-2 hours.
The pre-learning material comprises reading, videos and activities for you to engage with and this information is then discussed and consolidated within the live sessions.
Due to the nature of the course, there are limited spaces available. Please book at the earliest to avoid disappointment.
