Mental Health First Aid Training

Learning Outcomes

This two-day course trains you as a Mental Health First Aider (MHFAider®) , giving you:

  • A deeper understanding of mental health

  • Factors that can affect people’s wellbeing

  • Practical skills to spot the triggers and signs of mental health issues

  • The confidence to step in and support someone to recover their health by guiding them to appropriate support

  • 3 years of access to the MHFAider® Support App with 24/7 digital support


This course will be held face to face in South London and will be taught using MHFA England’s new and updated course format.

The New Course Format

MHFA England’s training is grounded in research. It has been developed through an inclusive lens, with input from people with lived experience and in collaboration with clinical practitioners, learners and workplaces.

The new programme provides continuous support for MHFAiders® well beyond the initial certification – so people are confident, empowered and motivated to carry out the role

Our MHFA England Certified Instructors have trained over 300 people in Mental Health First Aid over 4 years. By training with us you will gain:
