Half Day Adult Mental Health Aware Course
This introductory three hour session raises awareness of young people’s mental health. It covers:
What mental health is and how to challenge stigma
A basic knowledge of some common mental health issues
An introduction to looking after your own mental health and maintaining wellbeing
Confidence to support someone in distress or who may be experiencing a mental health issue
Registration Deadline
Registration for this course will close at 11pm on 19 March 2023 in order for course materials to be delivered in time. Please register at the earliest as there are very limited spaces.
Cost
MHFA England requires us to charge £125 per person for this course, however, please get in touch should you require a reduction in course fee.
Format
This is a three hour course delivered via online video conferencing
Learning takes place through a mix of presentations, group discussions and workshop activities
We limit numbers to 25 people per course so that the instructor can keep people safe and supported while they learn
