Half Day Youth Mental Health Aware Course
This introductory three hour session raises awareness of young people’s mental health. It covers:
Some of the common mental health issues affecting young people, including depression, anxiety, eating disorders and psychosis
Skills to work more effectively with young people living with mental health issues
Ways to support young people with a mental health issue and relate to their experiences
Registration Deadline
Registration for this course will close at 11pm on 5 February 2023 in order for course materials to be delivered in time. Please register at the earliest as there are very limited spaces.
Cost
MHFA England requires us to charge £125 per person for this course, however, please get in touch should you require a reduction in course fees.
Format
This is a three hour course delivered either face-to-face or via online video conferencing
Learning takes place through a mix of presentations, group discussions and workshop activities
We limit numbers to 25 people per course so that the instructor can keep people safe and supported while they learn
