The new online version of the Two Day courses delivers the same evidence-based learning outcomes of the popular ‘face-to-face’ Youth MHFA Two Day courses in an accessible and flexible online format. It will help you learn how to provide support and signposting to professional services and self-help to further support their recovery.
The course is structured around a blend of individual learning and live instructor-led sessions. These are all conducted online via the new Online Learning Hub developed by MHFA England. The online learning hub is an integrated learning platform where you can access learning materials, communicate with your instructor and join the live sessions.
The total learning time for the Online Mental Health First Aid course is the same as the MHFA Two Day face-to-face course. The course is made up of four instructor-led live sessions of approximately 2.5 hours. Prior to each of these sessions there are pre-learning activities for you to complete, which will take between 1-2 hours.
The pre-learning material is comprised of reading, videos and activities for you to engage with and this information is then discussed and consolidated within the live sessions.
